“I am a data analyst for the NHS, my career for upwards of 25 years. I’m an only child and I spent my childhood reading Famous Five and Secret Seven books in a makeshift tent in my garden. I adore rabbits which has earned me the nickname of Rabbit Lou amongst my good friends. I love gardening and being cosy in front of a fire with a glass of wine or a cup of tea, depending on the hour of the day! I’m happiest when with my husband and son, they are my world. I lost both my parents very suddenly to terminal illness in my early thirties. The aching loss and feeling of being cheated has shaped my book. I hope they will be proud of me.”
