Dawn and Laura Bartlett
About the Authors
Dawn Rene Bartlett is a Hot Mess-o Espresso mom of seven. Her coffee addiction began at the age of 25 when she and her college sweetheart, Richard, adopted 6 kids in 5 years from 4 different countries. And then, to the surprise of all, at 40, she became pregnant with her 7th child! Her diverse multiracial family is the joy of her life. (despite spending the majority of her prime years looking for her children’s lost shoes) Dawn is a well caffeinated childhood education expert, published song writer and champion of strong female role models. She loves world travel–something she enjoys every evening from her couch while watching her favorite TV show, HGTV’s popular “House Hunters International.” She daydreams of French countrysides, retro vans, and wants to see Wylie Coyote win at least once.
Laura Bartlett, single boy-mom, is a comedian, author, entrepreneur and founder/executive producer of Four Funny Females, an award winning all-female stand-up comedy show based in Dallas TX. In 2014 she helped her son, Mitch, invent one of the most unique wine gadgets in history which garnered over 36 million views on social media and inevitably caught the attention of ABC’s Shark Tank. Laura has been featured on NBC’s Today Show, CNN Money, Daily Mail, New York Times, CNBC’s “Make It” and over 100 more media platforms around the world. It’s been said, Laura’s enthusiasm for generating ideas is as infectious as chickenpox, but itches much less.
